Pumpkin Apple Pie Oatmeal

This recipe follows my normal oatmeal recipe, but adds in some fall ingredients like pumpkin and apple!

Ingredients 
1/3 c rolled oats
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 c water (add more if needed)
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1/3 c pumpkin puree
1 small apple, finely chopped
1 tsp vanilla extract
Almond butter 
Pumpkin pie spice
Cinnamon

Directions
Bring water to boil in large pot. Add the oats and chia and reduce to low simmer. Cook with the lid on for at least 2 minutes. Add in the pumpkin puree, chopped apple, and vanilla. Stir vigorously for thirty seconds to thicken the oats. Lastly, add in the protein powder (you may need to add in more water at this step). Stir until there are no more chunks in the protein powder. Pour into bowl. Add spices and a tablespoon of almond butter if you like.
