No-Guilt Ice Cream

Let's face it...the serving size on a pint of ice cream never seems attainable. A half-cup, becomes a cup, becomes an empty pint. Yes, it tastes delicious, but the amount of refined sugar and carbs are not so appealing. This recipe is inspired by my love for bananas. You'll see.

Ingredients
1 frozen banana 
1/2-2/3 cup coconut milk or almond milk
A few pitted dates (optional for extra sweetness)

Directions 
Blend all ingredients together in a food processor and pour into bowl. Cover with foil and put in the freezer for about two hours. 

Note: When serving I love to add dark chocolate, chopped almonds, fresh fruit, or coconut flakes
