If you hate baking, suck at baking, or are just plain broke, here is THE EASIEST dessert for you. There are just three main ingredients and it takes less than five minutes to prepare.
Some people are also big haters of corn. It is true that a lot of corn is genetically modified and may affect our systems negatively later on, but for this recipe I used organic corn flakes from Trader Joes to get the full nutritional value of the vegetable. Therefore, it is not genetically modified and it makes it easier for our bodies to digest. It is neither hybridized nor genetically changed,
Ingredients 3 c organic corn flakes 12 ounces dark chocolate (Ghiradelli) 1/2 c cranberries Pepitas (optional)
Directions In a double boiler, melt the chocolate on low heat. In another bowl, mix together the dried cranberries and corn flakes. Next, pour the melted chocolate over the flakes and fruits and stir and fold gently with a spatula to cover all of the flakes with chocolate. Grab a quarter cup measure and scoop out the nests onto a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Top with pepitas and put in the freezer for at least an hour.
