Berries n' Cream Overnight Oats
Gluten-Free

Something I could eat everyday for the rest of my life: oatmeal. There’s 1001 different healthy combinations that you can invent and make to fill you up for the whole morning!
Oats are great gluten-free grain to add to your diet. They are packed with fiber, protein, and help lower your cholesterol. You can also make your own oat flour to substitute for regular all-purpose flour by throwing it in the blender or food processor.
If oats weren’t awesome enough already, they are one of the cheapest healthy breakfast options out there! At about $2 for an 18-ounce canister, it costs you about 10 cents PER SERVING! Okay, now you have no excuses.
Last night, I was sitting in my kitchen, thinking of how I could add more protein into my oatmeal without protein powder or egg whites. Most of us know that Greek yogurt packs a mighty punch when it comes to protein, but our first instinct is probably not to put it in our oatmeal.
The result: creaminess + oats = happiness! The chia binds with the yogurt to make a thick pudding-like texture. The fresh fruit gives a natural sweetness to the whole meal, also giving you those precious antioxidants you need.
Feel free to experiment with different fruit and yogurt combinations!
Also, if you have time at night, it’s helpful to make two or three of these jars so that you have some quick and nutritious breakfasts planned for the week.

⅓ c oats
1 tbsp chia seeds
½ c nonfat Greek yogurt (Trader Joe's is the cheapest)
½ c water (more if desired)
⅓ c raspberries
⅔ c diced strawberries
¼ tsp cinnamon
Directions
